The Villa was a amazing from the house, pool, gardens, location to the owners. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary there with family and it was the perfect setting. They simply made it a great experience and wonderful memories. The restaurant Grisole is very close, great for breakfast and dinner. We have told friends that they need to stay here, it was truly a marvelous place. Thank you again to Stefano, Serena and Elena for making us feel at home! We cant wait to visit again.Review for Southampton, Regno Unito5/5A Must of Tuscany !
We had 14 years of family staying in San Jacopo for a special birthday party.
We were greeted upon arrival by Luisa, the owner’s assistant.
She was very helpful showing us around this wonderful property.
We have used the entire building and all the rooms are well presented.
So it is so easy to find the corners of the ground to hide and relax.
The pool was the center of attention and was a good size. There are two great things to eat.
The gardens are well maintained by Marco, who frequents every day.
The whole process was very simple and conducted very professionally by Luisa.Review for Dimora San Jacopo5/5Beautiful Villa from really lovely hosts
It is a beautiful villa in a lovely setting that is very carefully thought out,
well set up and maintained and accommodated all our needs.
More than all the owners, Stefano and Serena, their families and their friends gave
us the most amazing service and were in addition to accommodating us in what was
a bit of a stressful situation. This is why we are always grateful. We stayed at the
San Jacopo House absolutely by accident and were forced to the poor owners who
were not yet ready to open for business in their brand new villa. The original villa we
had booked was a disaster and we were forced to move. The booking agent offered us
3 alternative villas and since we were traveling with our elderly parents we chose to take
a look at the nearest villa first. We could not believe our luck. Poor Stefano and Serena were
not due to have their first ever rental until the following month. The villa was in the final stages
of preparing for this when we warned that we would arrive later that afternoon to spend the
rest of our 2 weeks. We came back with our bags and parents to a hive of activity and the whole
family was attending to prepare for our stay. From here on we can not criticize the service and
friendship we have received. We used 2 of the 5 apartments that are available and both of these
are very nice. The best part of this villa is the outdoor areas and the pool which are all meticulously
kept by Marco. We have been reunited by some friends for a few days and the villa, despite being
a wonderfully sociable environment, also ensures privacy for all guests with their private areas.
This could also be true for larger groups of us. The situation of the villa is perfect for day trips.
We visited Pisa, San Gimignano, Siena, Florence as well as some of the surrounding small towns
that are nice supermarkets and restaurants. We sincerely hope to visit again and wish Stefano
and Serena all the best wishes for the future.Review for Dimora San Jacopo5/5Superb Villa in Tuscany offers a great base to explore with a beautiful pool
Sitting on a low hill in Tuscany, the villa is located halfway between Pisa and Florence.
Carefully restored and updated this is a good villa with an excellent garden and a beautiful
swimming pool. We spent a super week in August with 16 adults and 2 children (10 and 12 years).
The boy “Garden and Pool” is a true worker who keeps the place in excellent condition. I would recommend it.
